The Registered Nurse (RN) Virtual ICU Rotating Shift is an onsite role based in Centennial, CO. Compensation is $35.29 - $54.71 per hour, depending on relevant experience, and this position supports the Virtual ICU department at UCHealth. This role exists to provide patient monitoring from a virtual center in collaboration with the onsite inpatient care team. The nurse will monitor safety and quality measures, intervene as necessary, and communicate algorithmic interventions to unit nurses and physicians to facilitate optimal patient outcomes.

What you'll do

• Provides top of scope practice in a virtual care environment utilizing the nursing process.
• Monitors safety and quality of care measures to intervene and provide recommendations to the onsite clinical team.
• Proactively communicates with unit nurses, hospital supervisors, and physicians to share algorithmic interventions.
• Models proficiency through precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth.
