Job overview

The Accountant role is onsite in Columbus, NE, with pay of $22–$27 per hour and a Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. schedule. The position offers hands-on exposure to sales tax administration and general accounting while working with an experienced accounting team. The accountant helps maintain accurate sales tax records, investigate discrepancies, and support reconciliations and other daily accounting processes. The work contributes to reliable account information and improved accuracy and efficiency across assigned accounting activities.

What you'll do

• Maintain sales tax records and ensure transactions are handled correctly
• research tax-related discrepancies and make account adjustments
• learn and use specialized accounting software
• assist with account reconciliations and general accounting activities
• take ownership of assigned projects and identify opportunities to improve accuracy and efficiency.
