Shipping and Receiving Supervisor

What you'll do

• Review shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, orders, and records to set priorities and work assignments
• oversee incoming and outgoing shipments
• determine shipment placement, routing, and load limits
• inspect loading and material-handling equipment
• maintain vehicle maintenance reports
• direct shipment movement
• prepare bills of lading and reports
• issue instructions
• standardize procedures
• resolve grievances, errors, and complaints.
