Tool Crib Attendant | Second Shift

The Tool Crib Attendant | Second Shift role is onsite in Elk Grove Village, IL, with pay of $23–$29 per hour. The scheduled hours are 3:00 PM–11:30 PM. The role supports ACME’s second-shift machining operations and production readiness. The attendant assembles, presets, stages, and issues cutting tools and consumables so machinists can begin and continue production without tooling-related delays. Accurate inventory, responsive floor support, and organized tooling help reduce machine downtime.

What you'll do

• Assemble and preset cutting tools according to setup sheets
• verify, label, and stage tooling
• coordinate with machinists and setup technicians
• respond to live tooling requests
• communicate shortages and quality issues
• issue and receive tools and record transactions in M2M
• maintain crib organization and inventory
• support cycle counts and audits
• assist with basic troubleshooting and tool reconditioning as directed
• follow safety and EHS protocols.
