Technology Transactions Associate Attorney

Job overview

The Technology Transactions Associate Attorney role is onsite in Washington, DC. Compensation is $235,000–$310,000 per year. The associate supports a nationally recognized Technology Companies Group at a leading Am Law firm, advising technology and life sciences clients. The role drafts and negotiates commercial technology agreements and advises clients on intellectual property, technology strategy, and transactions involving corporate partnerships, financings, and mergers and acquisitions. It also coordinates with corporate, intellectual property, and venture capital attorneys on complex matters.

What you'll do

• Draft, review, and negotiate licensing, collaboration, development, partnering, technology transfer, SaaS, cloud services, and other technology agreements
• advise technology and life sciences companies on intellectual property and commercial transactions
• counsel on technology strategy, product development, commercialization, and market positioning
• support partnerships, alliances, and licensing
• advise on technology issues in M&A, venture capital financings, and public offerings
• research emerging technology issues
• collaborate with corporate, IP, and venture capital attorneys.
