The Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO) — Special Access Programs role is onsite in Woburn, MA. The salary range is $152,000–$175,000 per year. STR develops advanced technology for defense, intelligence, and national security, and this role supports a Department of War Special Access Program portfolio at its Woburn facility. The CSSO leads program security compliance and serves as the primary liaison for SAP security requirements. The role coordinates with security and program teams, manages inspections and assessments, and develops procedures and briefings to protect classified programs and meet government requirements.

What you'll do

• Maintain security posture and compliance for SAP programs under applicable government directives and policies. Serve as the primary liaison for SAP security requirements and partner with program management, personnel security, classified cybersecurity and IT, and facility security. Lead compliance inspections and assessments
• develop and implement security policies, SOPs, Program Protection, and OPSEC/transportation plans. Oversee classified document control and accountability, administer DD254s, interpret classification guidance, investigate security incidents, and conduct security briefings and debriefings as required.

Why this role
