What you'll do

• develop warehouse safety and security programs
• issue shipping and routing instructions
• lead the 21-day production planning process
• coordinate warehouse activities with other departments
• record shipment data and reconcile damages or shortages
• use forecasts to assign work
• inspect warehouses, fleets, and equipment
• monitor product distribution
• conduct inventory
• schedule dock maintenance
• procure shipping supplies
• negotiate transportation costs
• maintain forklifts and material-handling equipment
• coordinate product samples
• support inventory processes and continuous improvement.
