The Infant/Toddler EEC Certified Teacher role is an onsite, full-time salaried position in Newton Center, MA, with a starting salary of $47,940–$53,040 per year. JCC Greater Boston’s early learning centers support its mission to create an inclusive community through meaningful relationships, connection, and learning. The teacher provides a safe, nurturing environment and developmentally appropriate, play-based learning for infants and toddlers. Through observation, assessment, family communication, and collaboration with colleagues, the role supports each child’s development and the quality of the early learning program.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with co-teachers, colleagues, and the director to develop a high-quality program supporting children’s intellectual, social-emotional, moral, and physical development. Maintain children’s health, safety, and security
• implement developmentally appropriate curriculum
• document interactions and experiences
• conduct observations and COR Advantage assessments
• and maintain confidential records. Build relationships with families, communicate daily, participate in conferences, and follow Massachusetts EEC guidelines. The role includes daily outdoor playground duties and required training week, usually the last week of August.

Why this role

EEC teacher certification is the minimum qualification; candidates must be certified or willing to become certified immediately. A bachelor’s or associate degree is preferred but not required.
