The Accounting Clerk role is onsite in Florence, AL, with pay of $15–$16 per hour. The schedule is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., with no weekends. Martin is a family-owned industrial supply business offering products and services in industrial, safety, integrated supply, and fastening. The clerk supports the finance team by managing accounts payable and receivable transactions. Accurate invoice processing, payment posting, record maintenance, and customer inquiry resolution help ensure funds move into and out of the organization on time.

What you'll do

• Sort and scan supplier invoices
• audit invoices against purchase orders
• prepare and mail accounts payable checks
• set up suppliers and complete credit applications
• enter invoices
• maintain accounts receivable customer files
• post customer payments
• investigate customer queries
• prepare invoices and statements
• prepare daily deposits
• coordinate with sales and management to support collections
• maintain cooperative relationships with customers and sales staff.
