Cyber Threat Detection and Response Analyst

The Cyber Threat Detection and Response Analyst role is onsite in Jacksonville, FL. Compensation is $60 per hour. The role supports the Chief Security Office and helps protect a bank’s global technology environment from cyber threats. The analyst identifies, investigates, and responds to security events, turning threat intelligence and monitoring findings into actionable defense improvements. Through threat hunting, incident analysis, and collaboration with security, technology, and business teams, the role strengthens detection and response capabilities and helps protect critical systems, applications, and information assets.

What you'll do

• Analyze cyber threat intelligence and security events
• monitor, investigate, and respond to alerts and incidents using SIEM and security monitoring technologies
• conduct threat hunting, vulnerability analysis, and investigations
• develop and improve detection use cases, alerting logic, and monitoring capabilities
• produce security reports, metrics, and management updates
• collaborate with global security, technology, and business stakeholders.
