What you'll do

• Oversee food and supply budgets and purchasing, food preparation, service, and storage
• maintain a clean and sanitary environment
• ensure safe, timely meals and supplements aligned with resident needs and care plans
• monitor regular and therapeutic diets
• participate in interdisciplinary meetings and QAPI activities
• recruit, train, coach, and evaluate department employees
• develop work schedules
• plan purchases using forecasts and inventory
• oversee menu planning, meal quality, special nourishments, sanitation, diet orders, diet cards, and nutrition documentation
• coordinate with registered dietitians and the interdisciplinary team.
