Journeyman Electrical Engineer

The Journeyman Electrical Engineer role is onsite in Dayton, OH, with compensation of $100,000–$150,000 per year. The work supports engineering for processing cards, crypto devices, and SATCOM interfaces. This role develops and updates electrical documentation, analyzes power and circuit protection, and assembles, tests, and troubleshoots hardware. It contributes to reliable system integration by documenting validation results and coordinating with Systems, Software, Test teams, and platform OEMs.

What you'll do

• Develop wiring diagrams, pinouts, and cable assemblies
• perform load analysis and verify circuit protection against MIL-STD-704/1275
• assemble and troubleshoot lab hardware
• use and document results from lab instruments
• support vibration, thermal, and EMI/EMC pre-qualification testing
• maintain engineering documents
• prepare test procedures, validation reports, and engineering change packages
• collaborate on integration issues and coordinate with platform OEMs.
