The Assistant Manager role is onsite in McAllen, TX, with availability required for up to 32 hours per week. The assistant manager supports the Café Manager and daily café operations by leading and training staff, maintaining product and service standards, and helping ensure the café is clean, stocked, and welcoming. The role also prepares beverages, serves customers, and supports opening or closing procedures.

What you'll do

• Supervise, train, coach, and mentor café staff
• teach barista and brewing techniques
• prepare and serve coffee and tea to company standards
• engage customers and explain products
• maintain cleanliness, organization, stock, merchandising, and inventory rotation
• support opening and closing
• communicate shift updates
• follow safety, security, and health requirements
• handle on-call coverage for shifts, emergencies, and customer issues.
