Scheduled hours are Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 7 p.m.–7 a.m.; the position also includes regular rotating and emergency on-call availability. The officer provides campus security and courteous assistance to residents, families, and guests. Hourly security checks, emergency response, access control, and building lockup help maintain a safe and welcoming community for residents and employees.

What you'll do

• Conduct hourly security checks of buildings, home lots, and campus streets and log unusual occurrences
• respond to emergency calls
• lock and unlock buildings
• greet and screen visitors at the front gate
• direct emergency personnel
• accompany residents or employees to parking areas when requested
• monitor emergency and safety equipment
• implement the lighting program
• collect and transport campus trash
• answer the switchboard when needed.
