Procurement Specialist / Senior Procurement Specialist – API Manufacturing

The Procurement Specialist / Senior Procurement Specialist works onsite in Coventry, RI. Compensation is $75,000–$120,000 per year. The role supports Pharmaron’s Supply Chain team at its active pharmaceutical ingredient manufacturing facility. The specialist sources and purchases materials needed for pharmaceutical manufacturing and site operations. Coordination with suppliers and internal teams helps ensure materials are available, purchasing records are accurate, and supply risks are addressed.

What you'll do

• Manage purchasing of chemicals, raw materials, consumables, maintenance and repair materials, laboratory supplies, and other site materials
• create and manage requisitions and purchase orders
• issue RFQs and evaluate supplier responses
• coordinate pricing, availability, confirmations, lead times, and deliveries
• address shortages and supply risks
• support supplier negotiations
• resolve invoice and receipt discrepancies with Accounts Payable
• maintain procurement records for GMP compliance and audits
• track supplier performance and contribute to spend analysis and improvement initiatives.
