What you'll do
- Facilitate planned activity programs suited to residents’ functional levels, needs, and interests
- assist or escort residents to activities and outings
- maintain rapport with family members and encourage their support
- record attendance and participation
- provide input to assessments and evaluations when requested
- communicate resident concerns and responses to a supervisor
- support residents’ preferences and choices
- assist with volunteers and volunteer programs at the Activity Director’s request
- clean activity equipment and materials
- and participate in long-term care surveys and regulatory and accreditation requirements.
