What you'll do

• Perform routine patient-care functions under provider direction and established protocols
• perform assigned clerical functions
• prepare and administer medications as directed by provider order
• verify patient identity using two forms of identification
• assist with special and minor surgical procedures and diagnostic examinations
• follow infection-control practices
• perform venipuncture and other lab duties
• document patient information and procedures in the electronic health record while maintaining confidentiality.
