Male Specimen Collector

Job overview

The Male Specimen Collector position is onsite in Portland, OR, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Pay is $20–$23 per hour. Millennium Health is an accredited specialty laboratory providing medication monitoring and drug testing services to support clinicians’ treatment decisions. The collector obtains and processes patient specimens and serves as a link between clinics and the laboratory. The role supports accurate specimen handling, patient service, and reliable laboratory information for clinical use.

What you'll do

• Collect urine and/or oral fluid specimens
• process and package collections for shipping
• serve as an intermediary between practices or clinics and the laboratory
• record patient, physician order, and laboratory information
• resolve specimen concerns involving billing or patient information in the ordering portal
• maintain onsite collection supplies
• and observe collections when applicable. Driving between facilities may be required.
