Rebar Shear Operator

Job overview

The Rebar Shear Operator role is onsite in Saxonburg, PA. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m., with overtime sometimes required to meet project needs. Brayman Precast operates a reinforcing bar operation and a heavy manufacturing facility. The operator processes rebar to production requirements while supporting safe, accurate, and timely shop operations. The role contributes by operating and checking machinery, handling materials, documenting production and quality, and assisting other machine operators as needed.

What you'll do

• Operate rebar shears and benders
• load racks and manage rebar inventory
• unload and store incoming materials
• shear and unload rebar to production requirements
• inspect machine setup and alignment
• perform basic adjustments and routine maintenance
• assist with production and quality documentation
• follow production plans and safety procedures
• maintain an organized work area
• assist other machine operators as needed.
