What you'll do

• Develop, implement, evaluate, and direct the facility infection prevention and control program in accordance with company policies and applicable CDC, OSHA, and local requirements
• participate in government agency surveys as requested
• monitor staff infection prevention practices
• make nursing-unit rounds to review case findings, sanitation, and isolation precautions
• review infectious disease laboratory reports and consult with the Director of Nursing
• ensure proper disposal of infectious and contaminated materials.
