Reconstruction Technician

The Reconstruction Technician role is onsite in Alexandria, VA. Pay is $25–$30 per hour. The technician works under the Project Manager and Director of Construction on repair and reconstruction projects. The role performs repair work and supports field supervision of active construction projects, including fire and water damage restoration. It contributes to project completion, customer satisfaction, and budget performance through hands-on trade work, crew coordination, and project documentation.

What you'll do

• Perform repair work from work orders
• complete project punch lists
• assist with project start-up documentation and permits
• inspect active projects and verify subcontractor work
• meet with customers about progress and expectations
• perform fire and water damage restoration
• assist with emergency mitigation
• lead crews and subcontractors
• maintain project records and schedules
• order materials
• maintain vehicles and equipment
• follow safety procedures.
