Recovery Support Staff (RSS)

Compensation is $0 per year. The Recovery Support Staff role is onsite in Lockhart, TX. Plum Creek Recovery Ranch provides a therapeutic treatment environment for adults recovering from alcohol or substance abuse. The RSS observes and supports clients’ safety, daily living, and participation in treatment. By maintaining consistent observations, assisting with therapeutic activities, and communicating behavioral changes to the treatment team, the role contributes to a safe and structured recovery setting.

What you'll do

• Conduct Q30 observations and one-to-one monitoring
• support treatment engagement and communicate observations to the treatment team
• co-facilitate educational and community groups
• follow direction from an RN or LVN and float between units as needed
• observe behavioral changes and notify the RN
• respond to codes
• supervise patients and support treatment participation
• orient new patients
• provide assigned nursing assistance
• maintain a safe therapeutic environment and complete clerical support.
