HVAC Service Technician

The HVAC Service Technician role is onsite in Bellingham, WA, serving homeowners in Bellingham and the surrounding Whatcom County area. Compensation is $30–$35 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. The role supports Marr’s Heating, AC, Plumbing & Electrical’s residential HVAC service team. The technician diagnoses, repairs, and maintains residential heating and cooling systems while following the company’s in-home service process. Clear explanations, accurate documentation, and respectful care of customers’ homes contribute to reliable service and a positive customer experience.

What you'll do

• Service, repair, and maintain residential furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductless mini-splits
• explain work and findings to customers
• present repair options and offer the maintenance agreement
• quote repairs, invoice, and collect payment
• document service calls
• identify cross-trade opportunities and refer leads
• handle refrigerant and identify warranty situations
• maintain truck, tools, and supplies
• attend weekly meetings and monthly training.
