The Preschool Teacher Assistant role is onsite in North Aurora, IL, with a stated pay range of $15.36–$19.97 per hour. The assistant supports Cadence Education’s work to create bright futures for children, families, and educators. Under classroom leadership, the assistant helps maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment. The role supports daily classroom activities, developmentally appropriate curriculum, and children’s physical, social, emotional, developmental, and behavioral needs, including following plans as directed.

What you'll do

• Support a positive classroom environment
• greet children and families
• assist with individual developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs
• follow IEPs and behavioral support plans as directed
• support curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs
• communicate with families and coworkers
• follow safety and supervision procedures
• document and report incidents
• attend required meetings, training, and professional development.
