What you'll do

• Lead, coach, and develop purchasing staff
• identify cost savings and process improvements
• coordinate purchasing priorities with sales, operations, warehouse, and location leaders
• place and manage stock and special-order purchase orders
• monitor shipment timelines and communicate delays
• manage vendor programs and performance
• oversee globally sourced products and import logistics
• set reorder points, forecast demand, reduce excess inventory, maintain cost and price data, and resolve invoice discrepancies.
