Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Denton, TX, at Yugo's Forum Denton community. Compensation is $22.00–$26.00 per hour. Yugo's student housing communities are designed to support student success and provide a quality living experience. The technician maintains the property's safety, condition, and functionality by completing resident work orders, performing repairs and inspections, preparing vacant units, and coordinating with residents, management, and vendors. The role also includes scheduled on-call and after-hours emergency maintenance response.

What you'll do

• Complete resident work orders and maintenance requests
• perform plumbing, electrical, painting, appliance, carpentry, and other property repairs
• inspect buildings, grounds, equipment, and common areas
• prepare vacant units for residents
• maintain pools and related equipment where applicable
• manage maintenance supplies and inventory
• follow OSHA and company safety procedures
• communicate with property management and coordinate with vendors
• participate in scheduled on-call response.

Why this role

At least one year of maintenance experience including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical is required; EPA Type I or higher and pool maintenance certification are preferred.
