The Preschool Classroom Aide role is onsite in Heber, UT, Monday–Friday for approximately 28 hours per week, generally around 8:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. Compensation ranges from $17.49 to $18.43 per hour depending on qualifications. Early Learning Essentials is a nonprofit Head Start organization providing preschool, health, and social services to children and families facing significant challenges. The aide works under a teacher’s direction to support instruction, supervision, and developmentally appropriate learning for enrolled children. The role helps children build social, intellectual, physical, and emotional skills and supports school readiness, including for children with individualized education, behavioral, health, or language needs.

• Assist the teacher with instruction, supervision, and learning activities
• support children with individualized education, behavioral, or health plans and English language learners
• help implement developmentally appropriate activities
• and contribute to the agency’s school readiness plan.

The position is part-time and not eligible for telecommuting. Pay varies by qualifications: $17.49 without a CDA or while in progress, $17.86 with a completed CDA, and $18.43 with an associate or bachelor’s degree.
