What you'll do

  • Assist crew chiefs and senior surveyors with field operations
  • set up, calibrate, and maintain survey equipment
  • collect and record field data, notes, points, sketches, and equipment logs
  • support construction layout, topographic, boundary, ALTA, utility-locating, and feature-location tasks
  • gather geospatial data using GPS and 3D scanning
  • assist with sketches, CAD drawings, maps, reports, and legal descriptions
  • maintain equipment and follow safety and quality policies
  • communicate with teams, clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
