Emergency Medical Technician

Job overview

The Emergency Medical Technician works onsite from Evergreen Ambulance’s Portland, OR office and drives throughout the greater Portland metro area. The part-time role pays $23.50–$30.50 per hour and offers variable 10-hour shifts between 5:00 AM and 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of two shifts per week. Evergreen provides non-emergency transport and Basic Life Support across Clackamas, Multnomah, and Washington counties.

What you'll do

• Provide Basic Life Support within scope and protocols
• care for patients outside the hospital
• transport patients between residences and facilities
• document care and report to receiving facilities
• use electronic patient-care records and communication technology
• maintain, clean, and stock the vehicle and equipment
• operate the vehicle according to laws and company procedures
• report safety hazards
• and perform base cleaning and disinfection duties as needed.
