The Crew Worker I role is onsite in Massillon, OH. Compensation is $15 per hour. The position is part of Stark County Park District’s Maintenance & Construction team, maintaining parks and trails across an 8,000-plus-acre park system. The role supports safe, clean, usable parks through groundskeeping, trail maintenance, equipment and tool use, and custodial work. It also assists park patrons and helps maintain park vehicles and work areas.

What you'll do

• Operate lawn equipment to cut and trim grass and maintain trees and bushes
• remove trash and snow as needed
• perform trail maintenance with a two-to-four-person crew
• use small and large equipment and hand and power tools
• spread materials and install signage
• maintain clean work areas and park vehicles
• clean up events, collect trash, and clean restrooms as needed
• interact appropriately with park patrons.
