Service Technician – Outdoor Power Equipment

Job overview

The Service Technician – Outdoor Power Equipment role is onsite in Dimondale, MI, with compensation of $28–$42 per hour. The technician supports equipment service and repair operations for Unique Ground and Supply. This role diagnoses, repairs, and maintains customer and company equipment so it can be returned to service efficiently and professionally. It also supports shop quality and safety through accurate repair-order documentation, required training, and collaboration with service advisors, parts, and management.

What you'll do

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on tractors, mowers, small engines, plows, spreaders, and related equipment
• perform repairs, adjustments, preventive maintenance, and plow installations
• document work on repair orders
• communicate findings and delays to service advisors
• complete required OEM, safety, and company training
• maintain a clean, safe work area and follow OSHA and company procedures.
