Digital Module Design Engineer

The Digital Module Design Engineer role is hybrid in Longmont, CO, with remote work also available. Compensation is $100,000–$140,000 per year. The engineer leads the design, development, integration, and verification of high-reliability digital electronics for space applications. The role carries designs through the engineering lifecycle and works with customers, suppliers, and manufacturing teams to meet technical requirements and readiness goals.

What you'll do

• Lead design, development, and verification of digital electronics modules for space applications
• capture and trace requirements
• conduct concept development and trade studies
• select components and prepare schematic and layout instructions
• perform timing and circuit analyses
• release designs and support integration and verification testing
• present at design reviews
• coordinate with supply chain and manufacturing
• engage with customers
• maintain engineering documentation and verification results
• improve design processes and tools.
