Maintenance Technician II

Job overview

The Maintenance Technician II role is onsite in Charleston, SC. Compensation is $23–$27 per hour. The technician reports to the Director of Facilities and maintains company-owned buildings, grounds, and equipment. The role handles general maintenance calls without constant oversight and carries out preventive maintenance and repairs across building systems and property assets. This work supports safe, functional facilities and grounds, including parking areas, kitchen equipment, and the vehicle fleet.

What you'll do

• Perform general maintenance including painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and HVAC troubleshooting
• establish and carry out preventive maintenance programs
• maintain supplies and equipment inventory
• conduct routine and scheduled foot patrols of company assets, grounds, and parking lots
• maintain applicable OSHA, DHEC, and DEQ programs
• complete on-call needs and requests as necessary.
