What you'll do

• Respond to incoming calls about medical questions and concerns
• review records for urgent requests and special needs
• room patients and gather chart information
• assist with treatment and routine diagnostic or laboratory tests, phlebotomy, and injections
• schedule tests with medical facilities
• provide patient education as instructed
• triage clinical calls according to protocols
• document in the electronic medical record under HIPAA guidelines
• support appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and other clinical services.
