Senior Medical Assistant, Primary Care

The Senior Medical Assistant, Primary Care role is onsite in Montgomery, TX, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Compensation starts at $18.00 per hour. The role supports a leading healthcare organization’s Primary Care department. The assistant supports providers and clinical workflow by preparing patients and examination rooms, collecting and documenting vital signs and medical history, and maintaining accurate electronic records. The role contributes to efficient, patient-centered care in a high-volume setting serving approximately 28 patients per day.

What you'll do

• Room patients and prepare them for provider visits and examinations
• obtain and document vital signs and relevant medical history
• support providers with daily patient care and clinical workflow
• complete patient rooming within the expected 15-minute timeframe
• prepare examination rooms, supplies, and equipment between patients
• maintain timely and accurate electronic medical records
• communicate professionally with patients and care teams
• follow clinical, safety, infection-control, and confidentiality procedures.
