Maintenance Technician

What you'll do

• Repair, replace, and reassemble defective equipment parts using hand and power tools
• perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment and buildings
• diagnose mechanical problems and determine corrective actions
• operate cutting torches or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts
• work in production as necessary during maintenance slowdowns.

Why this role

High school diploma or equivalent required; 6 months to 1 year of related experience required. Knowledge of hot-dip galvanizing, steel fabrication, or custom metal coating operations is preferred.
