Personal Care Aide

Job overview

The Personal Care Aide role is onsite in Chicago, IL, with compensation of $17.05 per hour. The position supports participants in Casa Central’s Adult Wellness Center (AWC) program under the guidance of the Program Supervisor. The aide provides daily supervision and personal care while helping participants take part in therapeutic, recreational, social, and nutritional activities. The role contributes to participant safety, well-being, and an orderly, supportive center environment, including assistance during meals and agency transportation as assigned.

What you'll do

• Welcome and assist participants, visitors, and caregivers
• support activities of daily living, mobility, transfers, feeding, and personal care as needed. Lead and assist with daily educational, recreational, therapeutic, nutritional, and social activities under supervisor direction. Assist with meals and cleanup, monitor participant safety and well-being, support transportation and community activities, maintain program areas and supplies, and complete requested reports and documentation. Toileting assistance may be provided when needed in the absence of CNAs.
