The Recuperative Care Operations Specialist role is onsite in Ann Arbor, MI. Compensation is $19.92 per hour, with a Tuesday–Saturday schedule from 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The Shelter Association of Washtenaw County’s mission is ending homelessness, one person at a time. The specialist supports the safe, smooth operation of an off-site 12-bed recuperative care program for people recovering from post-acute medical needs. Working with the Recuperative Care Coordinator and part-time nurse team, the role helps meet clients’ daily needs, maintain program routines, and coordinate supportive care.

What you'll do

• Ensure clients are present at program arrival and departure
• conduct room checks for cleanliness and safety and provide routine medication prompts
• prepare and distribute lunches and pick up dinners
• provide approved client transportation or run errands
• offer empathetic, confidential support
• document client information and activities in HMIS and staff notes
• maintain supplies and meals
• orient new clients to program rules
• communicate client policy questions to the coordinator
• attend care coordination meetings and trainings.
