Customer Development Specialist (Biotech)

The Customer Development Specialist (Biotech) role is onsite in Pullman, WA, with pay of $21–$25 per hour. The position is in VMRD’s Sales and Marketing department and serves as a frontline contact for customers and prospects. The specialist supports a positive customer experience and customer loyalty by processing orders and quotes, answering product and service questions, coordinating shipments, and resolving account and billing issues. The role also helps customers understand diagnostic products and services while maintaining accurate account and shipment records.

What you'll do

• Process orders and quotes through phone, email, LIMS, and web channels
• prepare customs forms and international shipment documents
• create and maintain customer accounts in ERP software
• assist with general and technical inquiries and educate customers on diagnostic products and services
• support accurate, timely delivery in compliance with company policies and regulations
• manage invoicing, billing adjustments, returns, and refunds
• respond to and route complaints and technical support cases
• maintain knowledge of diagnostic and testing services
• maintain order and shipment records and perform shipping and receiving duties when needed.
