What you'll do

• Greet and room patients
• take vital signs, height, weight, and medical history
• document visits in Athena
• give injections and immunizations as directed
• perform point-of-care tests
• draw blood and collect specimens
• assist with exams and minor procedures
• perform EKGs and basic wound care
• support DOT physicals and workers’ compensation visits
• provide follow-up and discharge instructions as directed
• handle refill requests, calls, prior authorizations, and referrals
• clean and stock exam rooms
• cover front-desk check-in and scheduling
• follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines.

Why this role

Requires a high school diploma or GED, completion of a medical assistant program or equivalent clinical experience, and current BLS certification or willingness to obtain it within 30 days. Possible Saturday work is stated.
