Dementia Caregiver — 8 AM–8 PM

The Dementia Caregiver works onsite in the Colleyville area near Fort Worth, TX, on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday from 8 AM to 8 PM; compensation is $16.25–$17.75 per hour. Benevolent Hearts Home Care provides specialized dementia training focused on more positive interactions between clients and caregivers. The caregiver provides one-on-one support to seniors living with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, following individualized care plans and safety protocols. Dementia-friendly communication, personal care, and observation help support clients’ comfort and well-being at home.

What you'll do

• Provide one-on-one care for seniors with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias
• assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal care
• use redirection, validation, and dementia-friendly communication
• support clients experiencing cognitive and behavioral changes
• provide engagement and companionship
• assist with mobility and transfers
• prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
• monitor and report changes
• follow care plans and safety protocols.
