This role is for an Initial License Trainee (ILT) to become a licensed Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) supporting the Byron Nuclear Power Station. The primary purpose is to train and prepare to perform the duties of an Operations Shift Supervisor, ultimately supervising licensed reactor operators and equipment operators.

What you'll do

• Attend Initial License Training (ILT) including classroom and on-the-job training.
• Successfully complete all phases of training to obtain an SRO license.
• Perform other job assignments and duties as directed by management, including emergency response and outage support.

What we're looking for

Education

High school diploma/GED

Experience

1 year Reactor Operator license at a comparable facility or 1.5 years at a noncomparable facility.
