Collections Analyst

The Collections Analyst role is onsite in Louisville, KY. Compensation is $18–$24 per hour. The role supports PharMerica’s patient-account collections and pharmacy billing operations within BrightSpring Health Services. The analyst researches and resolves assigned patient-level accounts, communicating with responsible parties and internal teams to collect balances or take other appropriate resolution steps. The work helps resolve accounts and receivables in a timely manner while following company policy and applicable consumer-protection requirements.

What you'll do

• Conduct collection efforts for patient-level accounts, primarily private accounts
• handle inbound and outbound calls and explain billing
• follow up on past-due accounts using approved techniques
• work with internal and external customers to collect balances or resolve accounts through other appropriate actions
• maintain productivity records
• coordinate with pharmacy billing associates on accurate billing information, rebilling, and unpaid claims
• research accounts requiring special attention
• communicate with pharmacy locations, nursing home accounts, and individual customers
• receive correspondence and send collection letters and service discontinuation letters
• support special projects
• follow company policies, compliance requirements, laws, and professional standards.
