HVL Laser Operator

The HVL Laser Operator position is onsite in Columbia, SC. Compensation is $21–$25 per hour. The role supports Husqvarna Construction’s high-volume manufacturing team producing segmented diamond blades for professional use. The operator sets up and runs production equipment, inspects components and finished blades, and records quality and production data. This work helps maintain product quality, safe operations, and efficient production flow.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate radius-grinding, laser-welding, sharpening and exposure-grinding equipment
• select tooling and adjust machine parameters
• inspect segments, welds and finished blades using measurement and testing tools
• record quality and production data and partner with Quality Control when needed
• maintain an organized work area and follow safety, environmental and PPE requirements.

Why this role

Two shifts are listed: first shift Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.; second shift Monday–Thursday, 2:30–11:00 p.m. High school diploma or equivalent required. CNC, micrometer, torque-wrench, laser-welding or diamond-tool manufacturing experience preferred.
