The Travel Registered Nurse — Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit role is onsite in North Charleston, SC, at Trident Medical Center. The posting lists pay of $2,011 per hour. The nurse provides care in a 28-bed mixed ICU, including care for patients requiring ventilator management and advanced cardiovascular support. The role contributes to unit care through bedside handoffs, telemetry interpretation, and management of complex ICU patients; travelers may be floated to the emergency department or PCU for PCU or ICU holds.

What you'll do

• Provide ICU nursing care for up to one to three patients
• manage patients on ventilators
• participate in bedside shift reports
• read telemetry strips
• support care involving CRRT and advanced hemodynamics
• work with equipment and procedures including post-operative CABG, Impellas, balloon pumps, Swan-Ganz catheters, and neuro procedures as described.
