Water Treatment Technician II

Job overview

The Water Treatment Technician II role is onsite in Millbury, MA, with a schedule that often includes overtime, occasional night and weekend work, and periodic travel to remote job locations. The role installs, starts up, operates, monitors, and maintains process equipment and systems used in water treatment and remediation. It contributes to project delivery through safe equipment installation, process piping work, and routine system maintenance; wastewater treatment plant operator certification is required within one year of employment.

What you'll do

• Follow safety procedures
• install and anchor equipment, process piping, and related instrumentation
• use hand and power tools and precision test equipment
• perform light welding and apply coatings
• operate forklifts, aerial lifts, and other heavy equipment when required after company-provided training and certification
• start up, operate, monitor, and maintain systems as assigned
• lift or move up to 75 pounds frequently.
