Tax Accountant

Job overview

The Tax Accountant role is fully onsite and client-facing in Bunnell, FL. Compensation is $70,000–$120,000 per year. The local tax and accounting practice serves individuals and small businesses with tax preparation, planning, business formation, accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, and related financial support.

What you'll do

• Prepare federal and state individual tax returns, including Form 1040, and corporate and partnership returns as applicable
• meet with clients and explain tax matters
• review financial and tax documents
• communicate about returns and planning
• provide basic guidance on small-business entity structure
• contact tax agencies to help resolve client matters
• maintain client status reports
• and coordinate with administrative staff.
