What you'll do

• Prepare and process weekly, bi-weekly, and special full-cycle payrolls across multiple states
• monitor electronic timekeeping for accuracy
• review employee portal changes
• collaborate on payroll transactions
• review automated outputs before vendor submission
• respond to employee payroll inquiries
• prepare prevailing-wage reports
• prepare payroll-related accounting entries
• partner with HR on compensation, benefits, and disability payments
• manage payroll tax compliance
• monitor agency tax notices
• prepare audit materials
• maintain confidentiality.
