What you'll do

• Keep residents’ rooms neat, clean, and free from odor
• wet mop floors daily
• shampoo and extract carpets as scheduled
• respond to spills
• empty trash and clean containers
• disinfect beds and rails
• clean surfaces, furniture, windows, mirrors, and personal items
• strip, seal, and refinish floors as scheduled
• follow safety techniques and cleaning-compound instructions
• communicate effectively, protect residents’ health information, and report emergency information to appropriate personnel.
