Gallery Director — Vogt Visual Arts Center

Gallery Director is an onsite, year-round part-time role in Tinley Park, IL, averaging 15–20 hours per week. Compensation is $17.00–$21.25 per hour. The Vogt Visual Arts Center is a Tinley Park-Park District facility serving the community through arts programming. The director manages daily gallery operations and programming, coordinating exhibitions and events while supporting artists, patrons, instructors, visitors, and gallery attendants.

What you'll do

• Coordinate monthly and annual exhibitions and receptions, including artwork acquisition, installation, removal, and return
• schedule and supervise Gallery Attendants
• manage consignment and artwork sales
• assist patrons, instructors, and visitors
• support special events and rentals
• maintain relationships with artists, collectors, businesses, and community partners
• serve as liaison between gallery staff, instructors, and the Park District
• install exhibitions during off-hours as needed.
